EMMERDALE fans have pointed out a blunder that could unmask serial killer Meena Jutla.

In tonight’s episode Ethan Anderson discovered the letter from his long-lost mum Esme explaining why she hasn’t been in his life since he was a boy.

He was devastated to realise that his dad had actively kept her away from him, despite her suffering from postnatal depression.

After Charles revealed how he had banished Esme from their lives after she failed to show up after first leaving, Ethan was heartbroken.

“That wasn’t your decision to make,” he said.

“You were trying to punish her. No wonder you never wanted to talk about her.

“The amount of hours I spent wondering what I’d done – why she hated me so much.

“I always wondered if it was my fault. All these years you’ve been lying to me. I’ll never forgive you for this.”

However viewers pointed out there was a major thing they had forgotten.

When Ethan first started to look for his mum, he received text messages from her.

Viewers – and Manpreet – know it was secretly Meena Jutla, trying to manipulate them all.

But it could be the key to exposing Meena’s evil deeds – and Ethan hasn’t questioned anyone about it.

One wrote: "Meena is #emmerdale own Villanelle!"

A second said: "I honestly think Meena could walk around wearing a badge saying I’m A Complete Psycho & no one would notice."

Another added: "My heart breaks for Ethan."
