Emmerdale fans were certainly left confused during the latest episode after Liv Flaherty appeared to verbally attack Vinny Dingle despite him trying to help her out of her dire situation.
At the end of Monday night's show, Liv was brutally attacked in prison and was left unconscious on the floor.
The following day, Liv was recovering from her injuries in hospital and the teen had a lot to say to Vinny, who she accused of not doing enough once again.
But Liv's unexpected outburst angered a number of viewers and they couldn't wait to comment on her antics on Twitter.
One upset fan penned: "Why is Liv being so b****y… Vinny was the only one on your side."
Another said: "Once the Police had Liv in custody they totally gave up on any real investigation, so can't really blame her for constantly breaking down. Bit harsh on poor Vinny though. He literally almost lost his life tryna prove her innocence. Helluva lot more than Aaron ever did."
A third unhappy viewer commented: God this programme needs an overhaul it’s pure bloody misery to watch! Has anyone laughed in months? Please send Liv off to join Aaron I can’t stand the snivelling ungrateful b***h or turn her around & give her a life, how about a bit of joy!
Meanwhile a fourth added: "Liv's got to stop taking it out on Vinny. He nearly died trying to prove her innocence. The fact the police wont take him seriously is not his fault."
Liv is currently in prison for the murder of Ben Tucker- a crime she didn't commit.
Despite Vinny desperately trying to prove that she is innocent and bringing serial killer Meena Jutla to justice for the murder, he's not having much luck.
With little evidence to prove that Meena did in fact Ben, Vinny is finding it hard to pin the twisted nurse down.
