EASTENDERS fans are not happy as tonight's episode has been pushed back an hour for a Question Time election special.

This means that viewers will have to wait until 9pm for their daily dose of Albert Square shenanigans – and it will even clash with I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

Viewers tweeted their fury over the new timings, which have messed up their Friday night as the popular soap normally airs at 8pm.

One said: "When you get super excited coz #eastenders is on later. But then you remember there’s a 2 hours Question Time beforehand, so it’s not on tl 9pm!!!"

Another tweeted: "Should put Question Time on after #EastEnders."

A third wrote: "F**k the question time leave it on the normal time ffs #EastEnders."

Fans will now have to wait and see how Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway's relationship progresses after Callum asked his boyfriend to go legitimate with his businesses once he joined the police in last night's episode.

The Albert Square bad boy confided in best mate Jay Brown and admitted that he was struggling to see if he could ever change.

Fans are also convinced that Chantelle Atkins will be murdered by her husband Gray after his behaviour got out of control.

Instead, they will be confronted with political debate from the leaders of the Conservatives, Labour, Lib Dems and SNP from 7pm till 9pm.
