EastEnders cast members Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) and Callum Halfway (Tony Clay) finally went on a date in tonight's episode.

Fans of the BBC soap will know that the chemistry between the pair has been electrifying for months.

They hooked up when Callum was with ex Whitney Dean which led to the barmaid breaking off her wedding to the undertaker.

However in the recent visit to Albert Square, Callum was gutted when he realised that Ben had invited Jay (Jamie Borthwick) and Lola (Danielle Harold) along for a double date.

Mechanic Ben made no effort during the date after being warned off my Callum's brother Stuart (Ricky Champ) and put off my brother Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

Things went from bad to worse for Callum as another man caught Ben's eye.

Fans were left fuming as Callum spotted Ben kissing another man from across the club.

One said: "Ben and Callum breaking my heart."

Another aded: "Unfortunately, looks like people was right about Ben kissing someone else."

A third added: "Ben getting off with someone else right in front of Callum hurt my heart"

Ben turned to Calum to tell confirm that they "weren't exclusive" leaving Callum and the EastEnders fans heartbroken.

Viewers will have to wait to see if "Ballum" have a future in the square.
