Game of Thrones, season 8 episode 5 caused a meltdown among viewers – and not in a good way.
Many were horrified to as Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) burnt down King’s Landing – causing the deaths of brother and sister Cersei (Lena Headey) and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).
However, did they actually die?
The siblings, who were also romantically involved, were thought to be crushed as the walls of the Red Keep crashed down on them.
But are we being fooled by producers?
Pictures have now emerged that suggest Cersei may still be alive.
In the snaps, Cersei and Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) are seen filming together in a tower – scenes that haven’t been aired on the show so far.
Could this mean Cersei will defy all odds and return for episode 6?
The speculation comes after some think Jaime is still alive too.
GOT fans are convinced this is true as actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau hasn’t addressed his exit from the show.
None of his co-stars have paid tribute to him either.
Eek, we can’t wait to see what the finale has in store.
Game of Thrones airs on Mondays on Sky Atlantic and can be streamed on NOW TV.
