DENISE Van Outen appears to have shut down any prospect of a reunion with ex Eddie Boxshall after unfollowing him on Instagram.
Denise, 47, ditched Eddie after discovering he has been having phone sex and dates with other women.
The pair had been dating for seven years and were planning to tie the knot in 2022 before their split.
Now the actress and presenter has cemented her decision by unfollowing her former love on social media.
Eddie, 47, has moved out of Denise’s home and is staying with a pal at a pub nearby as he believes he can persuade her to forgive him.
A pal said: “Eddie is convinced he can win Denise back and isn’t willing to throw away all of their memories together. He’s pulling out all the stops to save their relationship.
“He feels terrible and pained that she’s hurting. He is desperate to gain her forgiveness and knows there are a lot of deep-rooted feelings involved. He’s not willing to accept it’s over for good.
“He thinks they’re the perfect match for each other and knows he was foolish. Eddie is keeping his distance for now and wants to give her the space and respect she needs. But he’s staying nearby in the hope he might be allowed back. He’s staying in a room above a mate’s pub.”

But sources close to Denise said she had “made up her mind” and was “determined to move on and very unlikely” to take him back.
With sources close to Denise confirming they will no longer be appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox together, the mum-of-one broke her silence on the matter with a heartfelt post.
She posted a heartbreaking message alongside a black and white picture of her walking their two dogs on a beach.
Denise wrote: "Over the past couple of months, there has been much speculation regarding my relationship with Eddie.
"It saddens me to confirm that we are no longer a couple. I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship.
"I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made."
She concluded: "We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time, especially for our children ❤️."
Denise is mum to daughter Betsy, 11, from her marriage to Lee Mead, while Eddie has two grown-up children from a previous relationship.
