Kim Tate (Claire King) is set to return to Emmerdale’s Home Farm with a vengeance – as poisoner Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) is spooked to discover his ‘dead’ mum is in fact alive; and out to make him pay!

Jamie had been lacing Kim’s drinks with diazepam to make her frail and was more than happy for Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) to be framed for it.

But Kim was one step ahead of Jamie, and already aware that her son was the culprit.

Forming a secret plan with Kim, she pulled off the ruse of the century, employing actors as doctors and nurses as well as police officers to put on quite the performance.

As Kim played dead and was zipped into a body bag, Jamie broke down in tears, believing her to be gone.

As Will was led away, Jamie didn’t know what to think – had Will killed his mum or was his poisoning to blame?

Later, viewers saw Kim and Will smugly congratulate one another on a plan well carried out.

But Kim has yet to play out the final act of her vengeance – and that involves a confrontation with Jamie.

Jamie will be left shocked when Kim turns up very much alive – let’s hope his heart is in better shape than Frank’s when Kim last pulled this stunt.

As Kim squares up to her son and confronts him over his actions, how far is she prepared to go?

And how scared should Jamie be as he faces the ramifications of taking on the mighty Kim Tate?
