Coronation Street viewers have been dying for evil Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) to get his comeuppance after his abuse of wife Yasmeen (Shelley King) – and it looks like that may start happening next week.

But it's not just the Geoff and Yasmeen storyline causing drama on the cobbles, as Coronation Street spoilers reveal there's plenty in store for Abi Franklin (Sally Carman), as well as Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

It's also Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Maria Connor's (Samia Longchambon) wedding day, but after his recent involvement with Sarah Barlow (Tina O'Brian), will they make it down the aisle?

Geoff 'caught out' and double exit

For weeks now, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) has been making it clear she's on Team Yasmeen and isn't believing Geoff's stories.

It's been causing major tension between her and her husband Tim (Joe Duttine), but it seems things may take a turn for the better.

Next week, Tim finds out about the way Geoff has been speaking to Sally – snapping, angry and just downright rude – and tells his dad he doesn't want to be piggy in the middle anymore.

Tim tells Geoff that he and Sally will be leaving the street to go and stay with Sally's sister Gina for a while.

Gina Seddon was last played by Connie Hyde, but she left Weatherfield after some awkward tension with Sally.

It's clear that Geoff is losing allies, but could Tim be the final straw?

And could his evil, twisted ways be finally exposed, leading to a victory in court for poor Yasmeen?
