DRUNK Gemma Winters will put her quads in grave danger next week in Coronation Street when she pushes the buggy in front of a car.

The new mum-of-four has been struggling to cope with her babies since giving birth at the end of last year.

Corrie fans have watched Gemma go through a rollercoaster of emotions after her waters broke while stuck aboard a cable car high above a Welsh seaside town.

And the new mum is set to endure more misery this week when she’s bullied by snobby mums at a parent and baby group.

Next week’s episodes of Corrie will see Bernie arrive back on the cobbles to come to her daughter’s rescue.

When a frazzled Gemma opens the door, Bernie casts her eye over the mess and tells Gemma she isn’t coping.

After tidying the house, Bernie tries to persuade Gemma to come out for tea and leave Paul and Billy to babysit.

But Gemma is anxious at the thought of leaving her babies and says she’d rather stay in.

It all kicks off later in the week when Gemma takes her mum to the Baby Senses class.

When she suggests meeting up later with Imogen and Vanessa, they are quick to make an excuse.

But Gemma later hears sounds of a party coming from Imogen's house and realises they didn't want to attend.

Bernie forces her way into Imogen’s back garden and has a go at her for not inviting Gemma.

At baby yoga Vanessa apologises to Gemma for the party saga and invites her out to lunch with her and Imogen.

But after plying her with prosecco, Gemma hears the snobby mums bitching about her and storms out.

Disaster strikes as she bursts out onto the street with her buggy, she narrowly misses a car.

A police officer in the vicinity realises she’s been drinking.

Gemma then breaks down to Bernie and admits she isn’t coping.

When Bernie suggests she talks to Chesney, Gemma is overwhelmed.

When the babies then start crying, she runs out into the backyard and sobs her heart out.
