Coronation Street's Steve McDonald actor Simon Gregson looks totally unrecognisable after undergoing an epic drag transformation.

Although he looks incredible, the Corrie star, 48, has admitted that his children are "mortified" when he channels his alter ego.

Simon will unveil his drag alter ego Bidet Bardot for the glitzy new ITV show Queens For The Night, which will catapult onto our screens next Saturday night (November 5).

Looking unrecognisable in drag, the Steve McDonald star has admitted that his three sons Alfie, 15, Harry, 13 and Henry, six, are "mortified" and will likely "get grief" at school.

Speaking to The Mirror, Simon revealed: "They're mortified! They're young boys in a very big school and they’re probably going to get grief.

"We'll watch it as a family and have fun, but then they'll feign disgust as soon as they get to the school gates."

Elsewhere in the interview, Simon admitted how he thinks he is a "really ugly woman" and even compared himself to a "Star Wars baddie".

The soap star who has portrayed Steve McDonald since 1989 also spoke of how it was "uncomfortable" to get into character.

Simon isn't the only celebrity going under a drag transformation, because a whole host of other famous faces will be joining him on the much-anticipated ITV show.

Queens For The Night is a one-off show airing at the weekend that will see Simon star alongside Love Island's Chris Hughes, EastEnders' Adam Woodyatt and ITV Daytime star Mr Motivator.

Each celebrity will be paired with an experienced and talented drag mentor and the celebs will attempt to master the art of drag.

They will all have to wear the highest of the heels while learning how to either sing, dance, lip sync, master comedy, impression or drag magic.

RuPaul's Drag Race stars Blu Hydrangea and Kitty Scott-Claus will be joined by other famous drag artists in order to guide and teach the group of beloved TV stars and celebrities before one gets voted as the winner by the studio audience.
