CHANNEL 4 has dropped the first look at the Wagatha Christie drama – with Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney ready for war.

Vardy V Rooney: A Courtroom Drama follows the 'Wagatha Christie' trial which began in 2019 and ended earlier this year with Rebekah, 40, losing her libel case against Coleen, 36.

This Is England’s Chanel Cresswell plays Coleen while Harry Potter star Natalia Tena stars as Rebekah, and both look incredible in character in the first look pictures.

One snap sees Natalia surrounded by photographers as she heads into court dressed in Rebekah's trademark oversized sunglasses, a tense look on her face.

Another snap sees Chanel in court as Coleen with her lips pursed, while Michael Sheen is seen in his role as her barrister David Sherborne.

Chanel is also seen as Coleen at home on her phone, possibly creating her infamous 'trap' which triggered the whole 'Wagatha Christie' drama and subsequent court case.

As well as the titular females, Dion Lloyd can be seen as Wayne Rooney and Márton Nagyszokolyai plays Jamie Vardy.

Earlier this month, the stars of the new Wagatha Christie West End play Vardy v Rooney were announced.
