Celebs Go Dating took an awkward turn tonight as knickers came up in conversation in the middle of James Locke's date.

The 33-year-old TOWIE star has been looking for love since his split from fellow castmate and longterm girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou last year.

Tonight, James joined raven-haired dancer Georgia for a drink, hoping to strike up some romance.

Unfortunately, Lockie couldn't help but hide his dislike for unnecessary undies, as he said: "I hate knickers. What's the point?"

Potentially hinting at bedroom antics, he added: "When they’re going to come off…"

Croydon-babe Georgia looked shocked, as Lockie immediately tried to ease the awkwardness with a hurried explanation.

The date ended with a lacklustre peck on the cheek, as the reality star remarked: "I want to grow as a person as well as finding Mrs Locke."

Meanwhile, fellow Celebs Go Dating star Dean Gaffney opened up with romance experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson tonight, as they tried to find his ideal match.

The 42-year-old rose to fame on EastEnders, playing fan favourite Robbie Jackson from the tender age of 15.

Reflecting on his acting career, Dean admitted fame at a young age had a major impact on his romantic life.

He said: "I think having fame at such a young age you do abuse it. My three exes would all have the same issue, which is commitment."

The former soap star insisted he was ready to find his true love, as he added: "I want my ride or die."

Dean said his dream woman would be "stripped back from all the fakeness", as the dating experts arranged his next romantic encounter.

Will Dean have more luck than Lockie when it comes to finding love?

Celebs Go Dating airs on weekdays at 9pm on E4.
