Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) continues to find it easier to talk to Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) about how he’s feeling in Coronation Street.

In recent weeks, Tim and Sally (Sally Dynevor) have had problems in the bedroom department due to Tim’s impotence, which developed after his triple-heart bypass.

The couple have tried many ways to reconnect but sadly, nothing has worked – so Tim’s resorted to watching pornography and coming up, Sally checks his internet history.

After an argument, Tim attempts to make peace with Sal, but she accuses him of shutting her out and suggests they have some time apart.

In Victoria Garden, Aggie finds Tim and listens in as he shares his worries.

Back at home, Tim takes on Aggie’s advice and admits to Sally that after everything he’s been through, he’s terrified of dying.

Sally is certainly glad her husband was able to open up to her but wonders what made him finally realise as Tim fails to mention that chat with Aggie.

The next day, after their conversation, Aggie hands Tim a book about death and urges him to read it.

When Sally discovers the book, she’s proud that Tim is tackling his problems head on but once again, he doesn’t mention Aggie.

This isn’t looking good, is it?

Could Aggie and Tim grow close?
