15 Days returns to Channel 5 tonight and viewers are going to tune into the second instalment when Sara (played by Catherine Tyldesley) returns to screen.

It is the first proper role actress Catherine has had since she left ITV’s soap Coronation Street last summer after playing barmaid Eva Price for seven years.

The drama is one of several made by the broadcaster following their decision to not renew Big Brother.

And tonight, Sara, along with several other characters is going to be returning to her childhood farmhouse in Wales to read the will of her late mother.

In an arty flash-forward, those watching at home will see the situation turn drastically on its head and a family member is shot by an unseen assailant.

But who was responsible for the violence?

Whilst many were left shocked by the storyline twist last week, some were unable to focus when they saw Catherine’s character on screen for the first time.

The born and bred Salford actress attempts to give the Welsh accent a go and her usual appearance is now very different.

Nevertheless, many enjoyed the alternative character she was playing and took to Twitter to comment.

One said: “@Cath_Tyldesley Welsh accent is cracking! Great programme so far.”

“Loving the welsh accent @Cath_Tyldesley,” someone else wrote whilst a third suggested: “#15days @channel5_tv Trying to get my head around #CatherineTyldesley with dark hair and a #Welshaccent.”

Tonight, the story continues as Rhys (Tom Rhys Harries) is haunted by memories of the events at the lake, where his father drowned five years ago.

Meanwhile, domestic tennis rises as the wishes of the will are read out and Huw (Ifan Huw Dafydd) is left the family farm.

But this is the last of their worries as Huw is harbouring a devastating secret and it isn’t long before he is sharing it with everyone.

The series is made up of four consecutive episodes which are all airing this week.

During Wednesday night’s episode, viewers are going to see Nia and Michael’s (David Caves) affair intensify amid the acrimonious fallout which follows the discovery of Rhys’ parentage.

To make matters worse, he reacts in a bad way and goes missing.

Fearing for his safety, the worry and anxiety gets to Joy and she ends up going into an early labour.

Elsewhere, Sara comes to the realisation that Gareth is withholding something and is determined to find out what he is hiding.

For the final instalment, Sara is forced to come to her sister’s rescue and Baby Cai ends up going missing.

With time running out, will the secrets be exposed and the truth be told?

15 Days airs tonight on Channel 5 at 9pm.
