The USA TODAY High School Sports Awards are slated to celebrate the top student-athletes in the Atlanta area.

On June 18, 2020, at 6 p.m., USA TODAY will fete high school standouts with a star-studded online show available free of charge to all viewers. The show will also be available on demand after the initial live event.

Here are the 10 nominees for Atlanta Boys Wrestler of the Year.

Blaine Bergey

School: Buford High

Class: 2020

Weight: 182 pounds

College: Princeton

Noteworthy: Bergey locked up a second Class 5A state championship, and he will take that momentum to the Ivy League and Princeton University next year.

Weight: 160 pounds

College: Stanford

Noteworthy: Darracott concluded his career with an 8-6 decision over Woodland-Cartersville’s Cole Cochran to claim the Class 5A state crown.

School: Collins Hill High School (Suwanee, Ga.)

Weight: 160 pounds

College: Kent State

Noteworthy: After finishing as a runner-up in the Class 7A state tournament as a freshman, DeSilva steamrolled through the next three seasons to collect a state title in each subsequent season.

School: Woodland High (Cartersville, Ga.)

Weight: 145 pounds

Noteworthy: Henson trailed Francis Morrissey of Veterans 3-0 through much of the match before fighting back to tie the score late in the third period. It only took Henson 27 seconds into the first overtime period to pin Harris for the victory.

School: Creekview High (Canton, Ga.)

Weight: 160 pounds

College: Reinhardt University

Noteworthy: Higgins wrapped up a 65-3 senior campaign by winning the state title when he beat Evans High’s Jackson Eller, 11-8, in the final.

School: Woodland High (Cartersville, Ga.)

Weight: 138 pounds

College: Undecided

Noteworthy: McCrary’s 9-5 win over Ola's Sam Harris in the 138-pound finals gave him a third consecutive state title, and he finished the season at 46-1. His only loss came against a Florida grappler.

Noteworthy: McDaniel goes by the nickname Chachi off the mat, and he was a champion on it as he claimed the Class 7A championship.

Noteworthy: Who needs a pin? Smith was impressive in scoring a 20-6 victory over Union Grove's Alexander Troy for the state championship.

Noteworthy: He needed only 82 seconds to secure a pin in his Class 7A semifinal and took home the state championship as well.

College: Old Dominion

Noteworthy: Stonecheck capped his career with a fourth consecutive state title after he pinned Starr’s Mill High’s Ethan Kasier in the Class 5A 152-pound final.
