A FOOTBALL fan has delved into the archives to hilariously troll Champions League finalists and former Newcastle pals Moussa Sissoko and Georginio Wijnaldum.

The former Toon team-mates will go up against each other in Madrid on June 1 after Tottenham and Liverpool's heroic European comebacks this week.

Sissoko, 29, moved to the North London club in 2016 and has become an instrumental figure for Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Wijnaldum, who also switched to Liverpool three years ago, was the hero at Anfield after his two goals helped sink Catalan giants Barcelona.

Unbelievably they were part of the side that suffered relegation from the Premier League.

But it's ex-Newcastle midfielder Jack Colback gaining the attention on Twitter.

A fan found a picture of the trio celebrating a goal for Newcastle and wrote the brilliant caption: "If you told me in 2016 that one of the men in this photo would be a Champions League winner within three years I'd have wanted to know just how much Barcelona paid for Jack Colback."

Obviously one has become two ahead of the all-English final in Madrid on June 1.

Fellow fans have been lapping up the comment with one person writing: "far and away one of your best."

Another added: "mad that they were both relegated players."

A third said: "Best tweet I've read in ages."

Meanwhile conflicting fans from Arsenal and Man United are at a loss for who to support in the Champions League final.

United and Arsenal have both missed out on a top-four finish – though the Gunners can secure Champions League football by winning the Europa League.

Both results mean United fans are now rooting for Spurs while Arsenal supporters are desperate for Liverpool to triumph.
