TYSON FURY has sensationally claimed Dillian Whyte tried to "cheat" his way to victory in their heavyweight showdown at Wembley.

The Gypsy King called out Whyte after the fight for his dark arts tactics, likening him to boxing icon Wladimir Klitschko.

The Body Snatcher attempted to counter Fury's reach advantage by stepping inside and wrestling with his opponent.

Whyte required stitches after a crunching clash of heads at the start of the fourth round, with Fury accusing Whyte of intentionally headbutting and elbowing him.

He compared the roughhouse strategy to that of Klitschko, who Fury outpointed back in 2015 to become world champion.

Fury said: "He tried to make it rough, fair play to him, he was trying to man handle me in there.

"Have you ever tried to wrestle with a dinosaur? I’m like a T-rex in there. I’m 6ft 9, 270lbs. It’s difficult.

"He tried hitting me with elbows, head, he tried nutting me, done a Wladimir Klitschko on me."

Fury went on to accuse Whyte of trying to "cheat" his way to winning the WBA and Ring magazine heavyweight crowns off him.

The Gyspy King continued: "He was trying everything. He was using forearms, trying to elbow me.

"He didn’t fight a world champion tonight, I ain’t no world champion. I’m a legend in this game. You can’t deny it I’m the best heavyweight there’s ever been."

The encounter between Fury and Whyte was a scrappy affair until Fury's devastating right uppercut at the end of the sixth sent Whyte sprawling to the canvas.

The Body Snatcher managed to get back to his feet, but the fight was waved off as he stumbled into the ropes at the side of the ring.
