Yankees minor leaguer Jasson Dominguez is the youngest member of MLB.com’s annual list of baseball’s Top 100 prospects, coming in at No. 32.

Dominguez, who will turn 18 on Feb. 7, hasn’t played a professional game since signing as an international free agent with the Yanks for a $5.1 million bonus in July 2019.

In a tweet by the website, however, MLB.com listed Dominguez’s nickname as “The Martian” for his “out-of-this-world talent.” His lofty “player comps” included Yankees legend Mickey Mantle, three-time AL MVP Mike Trout and multi-sport star Bo Jackson.

The switch-hitting outfielder from the Dominican Republic was one of two Yankees to make this year’s list, joining right-handed pitcher Clarke Schmidt (No. 88). MLB also ranked Dominguez among the top-10 outfield prospects (No. 8) in baseball.

Baseball America also ranked Dominguez 33rd on its top prospects list last month, with pitchers Deivi Garcia (55) and Schmidt (64) also making the top 100.
