SWITZERLAND are battling with sickness within their camp with their Euros squad having to cancel a training session this morning.

Eight players and 11 staff are claimed to have complained of stomach problems, according to Swiss-German newspaper Blick.

A notice on the team’s official Instagram page states that affected players and staff have been isolated due to gastrointestinal concerns.

And Blick reports that players have been moved to single rooms to avoid illness spreading further.

Dr Martin Schober, the team’s medic, said: "The cause of the gastrointestinal problems cannot be conclusively clarified from the current situation.

“The symptoms of vomiting and diarrhoea are severe, but so far mostly brief.
