MANCHESTER UNITED legend Ryan Giggs has been photographed arriving at Carrington as United prepare for their latest Premier League test.

The Red Devils performed much better on Thursday night against Partizan Belgrade.

And United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping that the appearance of Giggs can help to inspire United's current crop to improve their fortunes in the Premier League.

It appeared that the Norwegian had turned a corner after away wins at Partizan Belgrade, Norwich City and Chelsea.

But they came crashing back down to Earth with a dreadfully flat 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth last weekend.

Giggs played alongside Solskjaer for the entirety of the current United boss' 11 years as a player at Old Trafford.

And neither player ever experienced a worse start to a Premier League season than that overseen this season by Solskjaer as a manager.

Brighton's home form has been impressive of late, but it has been a different story on the road.

Graham Potter's Seagulls have failed to win away from the Amex since the opening day 3-0 romp at Watford.

So tomorrow's clash at the Theatre of Dreams should provide Solskjaer and Co with an excellent opportunity to return to winning ways in the Premier League.

After Thursday night's 3-0 win over Partizan, the 46-year-old challenged his stars to demolish Brighton.

He said: "This is the template on how we want to play but sometimes it is the opposition who allow you to play this way.

“This performance can give the lads pointers as to how we can play when we play well.

“But I was pleased we went for the second and third because too many times we have been 1-0 up and not got the second.

“We needed a win, but we needed a performance in which the boys wanted to go forward.

“We could have had loads more goals, but it was a pleasing performance.

“We should have buried it in the first ten minutes really. Going into half time with a 2-0 lead, you're confident."
