MANCHESTER UNITED striker Romelu Lukaku has agreed terms with Inter Milan, according to reports.

But the main stumbling block for the Belgian hit man moving to Serie A is United's £75million valuation.

Chief Ed Woodward is keen to recoup the outlay he has already made for the 26-year-old and the Red Devils do not think his value has dropped despite an indifferent season.

After scoring two in the thrilling win over Paris Saint-Germain in March, he did not find the back of the net for United for the rest of the season.

He ended that drought with three in two games for Belgium over the past week.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Lukaku has agreed personal terms with the San Siro club.

SunSport revealed that the former Chelsea and Everton striker was told he can leave Old Trafford in showdown talks in late May.

He earns £225,000-a-week, which equates to £11.7m a season and the club think it could be better spent elsewhere on forward reinforcements.

Lukaku was the subject of a tug of war between United and Chelsea in the summer of 2017, when he opted to join Jose Mourinho instead of Antonio Conte's champions.

CONTE ADMIRER

Now he will have the chance to work with Conte, who he hailed as the world's best earlier this week.

Lukaku said: "Good that Conte went to Inter, for me, he is the best coach in the world.

"As for my future, I have already made a decision that I still cannot communicate publicly out of respect for Manchester United, with whom I have a contract.

"I am a big Serie A fan, those close to me know that I have always wanted to play in the English league and the Italian one, I love Italy.

"The club and my agent will talk about it but I have already made my decision."
