NFL prop bets put a different wrinkle on the world of sports betting, letting you bet on specific outcomes of player performance and more. Every weekend BetMGM offers a variety of NFL prop bets that bettors can invest on individual players.

Here are three of our favorite NFL prop bets for Week 9:

DeAndre Hopkins receiving yards prop bet is a healthy 87½ yards ( -118 on both sides).

What makes this number fascinating is that it pertains as much to Jalen Ramsey as it does Hopkins. When Ramsey arrived in Jacksonville in 2016, he was assigned to shadow Hopkins everywhere he went and the results spoke for themselves. In seven games that the two battled head-to-head, Hopkins had more than 87 receiving yards just once, including five catches for 40 yards in their meeting in Week 2.

Ramsey, however, took his talents to southern California and this will be the first game since the 2015 season that the Jaguars haven’t had Ramsey blanket Hopkins. By the way, in the two Hopkins played that season against the Ramsey-less Jags, he caught 17 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns. Although it is a huge number and our friends at TheHuddle.com see a game with six catches for 60 yards, the Ramsey Factor is too hard to pass up. Take the over.

Revenge is a dish best served cold

During the offseason, the Chicago Bears decided that they had designs on a running back in the draft that would fit Matt Nagy’s system better than power back Jordan Howard. In three years with the Bears, all he did was rush for 3,390 yards and scored 25 touchdowns. But, apparently that wasn’t enough in Nagy’s offense, so he was traded to Philadelphia for a conditional sixth-round pick in next year’s draft. What?

He’s going to get his chance to exact some revenge against his former team.

Howard’s over/under for rushing yards is 59½ ( -118 on both). Eagles head coach Doug Pederson has been known to let a player show a former team they made a mistake by moving on from them – look at DeSean Jackson in Week 1 against the Redskins as proof.

Don’t be stunned to see Howard get 20 carries if the Eagles are ahead or the game is close (a habit of the 2019 Bears). Our friends at TheHuddle.com have him for 80 yards and a touchdown. Rumble, young man, rumble. Take the over.

A squeaky wheel gets the grease

The Cleveland Browns were the hottest preseason hype machine in the league. You ready? We’re comin’!

For the most part, they have stunk out loud through seven games. As a result, locker room noise has surfaced with Odell Beckham Jr. being vocal about wanting the ball more to make plays to help the offense. His over/under against Denver is just 57½ yards ( -118 on both).

Why? In the last five games, he’s topped that number just once.

But, he’s OBJ and it seems like in the current era of football when you air grievances about play-calling, play-calling changes to appease a star. Take the over.
