MANCHESTER UNITED and Paris Saint-Germain are set to battle it out for Fiorentina forward Federico Chiesa in the summer, according to reports.

The Serie A side are understood to be desperate to do everything they can to keep hold of the Italian.

According to Le 10 Sport, Juventus and Inter Milan are also interested in Chiesa, who is valued at around £54million.

But United have already sent scouts over to Italy to watch the striker in action.

Chiesa came through the youth ranks at Fiorentina, joining the club way back in 2007 and spent nine years in the academy.

He made his competitive debut for his boyhood club in August 2016 in a 2-1 Serie A defeat to Juventus before being linked with Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea in recent seasons.
