KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV is no longer interested in fighting Georges St-Pierre, according to UFC president Dana White.

The reigning lightweight king recently revealed to White he's considering making a stunning return to the octagon.

But Nurmagomedov's mind is no longer on a legacy fight with St-Pierre, who his late father wanted his final fight to be against.

White said of his conversation with the recently-retired Nurmagomedov: "Nope GSP never came up.

"He's not interested in that fight. And from what I hear, after today, neither is GSP. So that's over."

Former two-division champion St-Pierre recently claimed he's still excited by the prospect of facing Nurmagomedov but admitted he's not sure he'd take the fight if it was offered to him.

He told Tim & Sid: “Time for me has passed and I couldn’t wait for that opportunity to come, so at one point I lost hope.

"So I had to move on with my life. So I’m not sure about it, I would have to think about it.”

Nurmagomedov informed White he's open to fighting again during their long-awaited meeting in Abu Dhabi earlier this week.

But he'll only lace up his gloves again if one of the four lightweights competing next weekend at UFC 257 does something 'spectacular.'

White told ESPN: "Basically the way that he feels right now is, he's accomplished everything he set out to accomplish.

"He thought that [Charles] Oliveira looked really good in his last fight against Tony Ferguson.

"So next Saturday we've got the [Conor] McGregor [Dustin] Poirier fight and [Michael] Chandler and [Dan] Hooker on there.

"So his words to me were,'I'm going to watch this fight. I would never tie up the division.

"These guys do something spectacular, show me something spectacular and make me want to come back and fight."

Nurmagomedov, 32, retired from mixed martial arts last October following his UFC 257 victory over Justin Gaethje.

The Dagestani called time on his perfect career as he promised his mother he'd no longer compete without his late father by his side.
