JORGE MASVIDAL has hit out at the UFC for not booking him in another fight.

The promotion's BMF is champing at the bit to get back into the welterweight title picture following his brutal KO loss to champion Kamaru Usman in April.

Gamebred has had multiple meetings with the UFC brass but has been left frustrated by his failure to secure a fight.

The 36-year-old told MMA Uncensored: “I’ve been freaking going in and out of Hunter [Campbell’s] office and calling him and they still haven’t given me a date or opponent.

“I wanted to fight this year. I don’t know what the f**k is going to happen.

“I already told them give me a f*****g deadline before I go full blast takeover like one of those bad governments when they get flipped and stuff. I need a fight, Hunter!

“Make sure the clickbaiters put ‘Masvidal demands fight soon’ and then under put Hunter [Campbell]. They’ll know what I mean.”

One fight that was seemingly on the table for fan favourite Masvidal was a grudge match with Brit Leon Edwards.

MMA vet Masvidal punched Edwards backstage at UFC London in March 2019 after his spectacular knockout of Darren Till.

Birmingham bruiser Edwards campaigned relentlessly for revenge but has since shifted his focus to a long-awaited title shot.

That has irked Masvidal, who said: "That guy is such a talking f*****g machine.

“'Cause [sic] the contract’s in front of his face, he’s said no like two or three times already.

"We’re already moving on. We’re not gonna saying names or nothing. I do a lot of this when it comes to contracts.

I need a fight.

"It’s either yes or no when a contract gets put in front of me.

“Who is the highest-ranked guy with the most money I can make, that’s who I’m going with.

"Leon was talking about I turned down the fight.

"No, you f*****g moron of a person. I fought for the belt twice. Why would I fight you?

"Who the f**k are you again? Now I got some spare time, I’ll beat this guy’s f*****g teeth in but he’s nowhere to be found.

"So we might have to move on 'cause [sic] he’s a coward.”

Edwards, 30, has had a busy 2020 so far, locking horns with Belal Muhammad and Nate Diaz in March and June respectively.

Rocky's clash with Muhammad ended in a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke, although he comfortably beat fan favourite Diaz in their UFC 263 clash.
