THE family of trainer Zoe Davison have set up a fundraising page in her memory after she sadly lost her life to cancer last weekend.
Davison, 60, died after a four-and-a-half-year battle with breast cancer last Sunday, on the same day the stable sent out an emotional two winners at Plumpton.
And husband Andy Irvine is hoping to keep the show on the road as he sends out the first runner formerly trained by his late wife.
Dream Du Grand Val takes part in the last at Kempton this afternoon.
Davison's family have also launched a fundraising page in the trainer's name on Just Giving, which has already surged past its original target.
At the time of writing the appeal for the Injured Jockey's Fund sits at £7,126.
Her family wrote: "Aside from her family, horse-racing was truly Zoe's world and many of us visiting this page will have great memories and stories we can share of Zoe and her horses.
"However, as we know the racing industry is full of highs and lows and it is in those difficult down periods where the Injured Jockey Fund comes in to provide much needed support to jockeys who are injured, unable to ride or who are simply in need.
"Zoe saw and appreciated first hand the great work that the IJF undertakes and she would have loved nothing more than to help others benefit from the IJF.
"Therefore, whilst flowers are always welcome, we would love it if you would consider making a donation to the IJF in memory of Zoe Davison and to help jockeys benefit from this very deserving charity in the future.
"Thank you so much for whatever you are able to contribute."
Daughter Gemma paid tribute to her mum last weekend.
She said: "I'm a bit overwhelmed we've had a double for mum. Hopefully we have made her proud. It's surreal.
"Our team is a family business and we put everything into it. She will be thoroughly missed as she is the glue that holds us together.
"We've had a few winners around here and it is one of our local tracks. It means everything to us as we want to do her proud."
