The ties are scheduled to take place over the weekend of March 20-21.

There will be new holders of the FA Cup this season after current champions Arsenal crashed out of the competition to Ralph Hassenhuttl’s side in the fourth round.

Well, that concludes the quarter-final draw, and while the top six sides remaining have managed to avoid facing each other, there are still some cracking ties.

Stuart Armstrong has put Southampton 2-0 up at Molineux and they will now join some of their top-flight rivals in the last eight.

Manchester City are the most recent winners of the trophy still left in the competition, and a ruthless second-half display saw them sweep Swansea aside

It wasn’t the greatest spectacle, but Scott McTominay ensured Manchester United remain in the hunt for their 13th FA Cup.

Only Arsenal have won the competition on more occasions after winning their 14th in August last year.

But with the Gunners exiting in the fourth round, United have the perfect chance to close the gap.

It was bonkers, it had everything, from drama to spectacular goals to Carlo Ancelotti drinking coffee!

We’re pretty much at the business end of the competition now, but what will the journey for the eight teams left look like?

Here are the dates for the remaining three rounds left in this season’s competition:

Quarter-finals: Saturday 20 March 2021

Semi-finals: Saturday 17 April 2021

The Final: Saturday 15 May 2021

So whose turn will it be to add an FA Cup trophy to their cabinet of silverware this season? Here are Betfair’s latest odds ahead of the draw:

Manchester City 11/8
Manchester United 9/2
Chelsea 6/1
Leicester 10/1
Everton 11/1
Southampton 20/1*
Wolves 30/1*
Sheffield United 37/1
Bournemouth 75/1
Barnsley 200/1

*Wolves vs Southampton being played now. Odds subject to change.

And just as I say that…. Danny Ings has given Southampton the lead at Molineux following a VAR decision to overturn the initial offside decision.

As you were currently then.

A reminder that the time of the draw will very much depend on the events at Molineux, where it is still goalless between Wolves and Southampton.

The time of the draw is initially set for roughly 7:45pm, but should the game in the West Midlands go to extra time then it is likely to be moved back.

Barnsley’s fixture against Chelsea will be the only fifth-round tie yet to have been decided before the draw starts.

1. AFC Bournemouth

2. Manchester United

3. Sheffield United

4. Wolverhampton Wanderers or Southampton

5. Barnsley or Chelsea

6. Everton

7. Manchester City

8. Leicester City

It’s FA Cup quarter-final draw time and there is the potential for plenty of mouthwatering clashes for the sixth round.

The two Manchester clubs, Leicester and Everton are already through to the last eight, with Chelsea also looking to join them.

Bournemouth are the only non-Premier League side to have qualified, and look set to face one of the big boys.
