ARSENAL can only complete an £80million move for Wilfried Zaha if club owner Stan Kroenke allows them to splash the cash.

The penny-pinching Gunners have offered to include three players in the deal in a desperate bid to land the Crystal Palace forward this summer.

But Roy Hodgson's side are reportedly not interested in taking any Arsenal player as part of the deal.

The Gunners were also unsuccessful in their attempt to land him with a £40m bid – with a buy now pay later scheme over five years.

Zaha, who scored ten goals last season, is now free to discuss transfers after Ivory Coast were knocked out of the Africa Cup of Nations by Algeria.

BBC Sport journalist claims that the Gunners will not be able to land him unless a big player is sold or if Kroenke makes a financial investment.

It was reported earlier this month that Arsenal chiefs will hold talks with the billionaire to try and increase their transfer budget.

But it looks unlikely as Kroenke was the only Premier League club owner to not dig into his own pocket to fund his team over the past decade.

Furious fans even chanted "We want Kroenke out" during last weekend's pre-season friendly against Boreham Wood.

Unai Emery has been left with just £45m to spend this summer following his club's failure to secure a spot in the Champions League.
