  • NEMANJA MATIC is ready to quit Manchester United in January, according to reports.

Matic has not played a minute of Premier League action since United's dismal 2-0 defeat at West Ham in September.

Serbian newspaper 24Sata say the former Chelsea star is unhappy at the playing time he has been getting not just this season but since Solskjaer took charge.

And they claim it has reached the stage where the £40million signing in 2017 is pushing to leave when the transfer window opens in eight weeks.

  • DANIEL JAMES admits he is still getting used to life with Manchester United.

The 22-year-old, who joined from Swansea for £15m this summer, said: “Coming in was always going to be tough and it was going to be different from playing in the Championship.

“I think I've taken it in my stride, tried to calm myself down a bit and think 'I'm here for a reason'”.

  • VICTOR LINDELOF has admitted to “missing” having Jose Mourinho at Manchester United – even when he gets being told off by the Portuguese coach.

Speaking to Aftonbladet, he said: “He is, after all, one of the world’s best coaches and he is supposed to have a job at one of the biggest clubs.

“I miss him in football. He’s a great coach and a great person, whom I owe a great deal.

“It was he who gave me the chance here, who brought me into everything.

“I have all the respect in the world for him and appreciate everything he has said and done for me, from scolding to a hug.

“Even if I did not agree, at the time… he has very great charisma, you had great respect for him.

“He’s won everything. When he says something, you listen.”

  • GARY NEVILLE claims Liverpool remind him of Fergie's old Manchester United side.

He told Sky Sports: “It's painful to watch as there is a lot of this team I see in the qualities of the Manchester United's team I was part of.

“Winning games late on, never say die, looking desperate every single time to win the ball back, they do everything they want your football team to do.

“And it's awful as a Manchester United fan to watch it. But you have to respect it.”

  • ARSENAL are worried they could become “the next Manchester United” if they sack Unai Emery.

The Athletic claim the club's hierarchy will continue to be extra cautious to avoid making any mistakes.

Emery's future has been questioned with the club sat at sixth in the table with just 17 points from 12 games.
