  • KEP CALM

EXCLUSIVE – Kepa Arrizabalaga is willing to take a pay cut if it helps end his Chelsea misery.

The Spanish keeper came under fire again this week for his performance in the 5-3 defeat at Liverpool and is now resigned to leaving the club.

The latest criticism comes on top of being dropped by boss Frank Lampard earlier in the season over a dip in form and continued speculation that Chelsea are looking at bringing in a replacement.

Kepa, 25, who earns around £150,000 a week, is two years into a whopping six year contract and knows the terms of his deal at Stamford Bridge make him an expensive buy for a new team.

He has been linked with moves back home to Seville and more recently as part of a swap deal involving Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea paid a world-record £71.6million for Kepa in the summer of 2018 but while the young keeper loves life in London, is struggling to convince Lampard that he is cut out for the Premier League.

Kepa would prefer to maintain his existing personal terms with a move but is ready to swallow a reduction in pay if the ‘project’ at a new club excites him.

  • BLUE IS THE COLOUR

Chelsea need a win against Wolves later this afternoon to ensure a Champions League spot for next season.

Here's how Frank Lampard's side could start at Stamford Bridge.

  • IRN BRU

Newcastle boss Steve Bruce has discussed Frank Lampard's touchline row with Jurgen Klopp as he joked he would get “beat up” if he engages in sideline spats nowawayds.

The former Man Utd centre-back was asked on a Zoom call why he never gets into such situation, to which he said: “I’m frightened now I’ll get beaten up.

“”I’m too old to take them on. In my younger days, I used to take on anyone!

“Look, it’s part and parcel of it. It shows that little bit of hunger and there is nothing wrong with it. It’s a bit box office.”

  • DOUBLE TROUBLE

Frank Lampard is already eyeing up two new signings after Chelsea agree a deal for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz.

The Daily Mail state the the Blues gaffer is now keen for the club to bring in a new centre-back and left-back.

They state that West Ham star Declan Rice is the man Lampard wants in the heart of his back four.

Ben Chilwell remains Lampard's No1 full-back choice, but should he be deemed as too costly, Ajax's Nicolas Tagliafico could be signed instead.

  • BLUE MOON

  • GOOD MORNING, CHELSEA FANS

Chelsea are rumoured to be eyeing a surprise loan move for Philippe Coutinho after dropping out of the race to land Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

The Daily Express claim the club are looking to spend big this summer after pulling out of the battle to sign the 20-year-old Londoner.

The Blues, who have already completed stunning deals for Timo Werner and Hakim Zayech, could soon be adding Kai Havertz to their list of transfer buys.

SunSport say the German playmaker could be poised to make a switch to Stamford Bridge from Bayern Leverkusen in an eye-watering £90million move.

Meanwhile, Willian could be set to play his last game in a Chelsea shirt today with Tottenham rumoured to be the next destination for the Brazil international.

Spurs are favourite to sign the Blues winger, who’s 31, in a move that would see him reunited with old boss Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea are due to face Wolves in a clash in which a win would be enough to secure Frank Lampard’s team a coveted Champion’s League spot.

Should the Blues lose, and Leicester and Man United win their games, Chelsea will finish the season in fifth.

  • WIL HE GO?

Willian could be set to play his last game in a Chelsea shirt on Sunday.

The Brazil international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Champion's League chasing Blues with Tottenham rumoured to be among his suitors.

Chelsea, who face Wolves in a pivot clash for their top four hopes, had offered the Brazilian winger a one year extension on his contract.

However Willian, who's seeking a longer term deal, is reported to rebuffed the club's offer.

And Sky Sports pundit Graeme reckons the Blues should offer the player a three-year contract.

  • PHIL-IN BLUE

Chelsea could still be in the hunt for a loan deal for Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho

The Daily Express claim the Blues could be looking to spend big this summer after dropping out of the race to sign Jadon Sancho.

Transfer bosses at the club have already completed deals for Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

And Bundesliga star Kai Havertz could be joining the pair as Frank Lampard's latest acquisition.

Chelsea look set to part company with Pedro and Brazil star Willian at the end of season.

ESPN say the Blues are yet to rule out a loan bid for Coutinho who's fallen down the pecking order at the Nou Camp.

  • WOLVES AT THE DOOR?

    • Chelsea are unbeaten in all five of their Premier League home games against Wolves (W4 D1), last losing against them in the top-flight at Stamford Bridge in March 1979 (1-2).
    • When finishing the season at home, Chelsea haven’t lost their final Premier League match since 2001-02 (1-3 vs Aston Villa), winning seven and drawing three since.
    • Wolves have lost four of their five closing day matches in the Premier League, winning the other against Sunderland in 2009-10.

    ED-DED OFF A THE PASS

Chelsea and Manchester City have missed out on the signing of French wonderkid Edouard Michut.

The highly-rated 17-year-old has opted to sign a new three-year deal at Paris Saint-Germain to end speculation over his future.

Michut has been labelled as the “new Marco Verratti” after impressing at youth level for the French giants.

He joined PSG's academy in 2016 and spent the latest campaign playing for the U17's where he was the most used player.

His potential attracted the interest from clubs across Europe including Barcelona, Juventus, Valencia, Chelsea and Man City.

    SHOW SOME WILL POWER

Graeme Souness reckons Chelsea should stump up a three-year deal to keep hold of their “best player” Willian.

It is understood that the Blues are only willing to offer an extra two years to the Brazilian winger – who looks set to leave for free this summer.

And Souness reckons the Blues would regret letting Willian slip through the cracks also.

He told Sky Sports: “I think he’s their best player. He wants a three-year [deal], they’ve offered two. I’d be giving it to him

“You watch him play, he doesn’t look like a player to me whose legs are going anytime soon and he’s got great qualities.

“So I would be bending over backwards to keep him at the football club.”

    MORE LAMPARD

The Englishman added: “I do have an edge. I would not have been able to play for Chelsea for so long in a team that was fighting for Premier League or Champions League winners in pretty much every season I was here.

“I have seen people around me who have an edge.

“I can’t stand there and demand an edge from my players after Sheffield United and not have that in myself to try to drive the club forward.

“It is not the right way to do it with the language I used.”

    I SPOKE FRANKLY

Frank Lampard has hit back at Jurgen Klopp again after he was accused of disrespect following their touchline bust-up at Anfield.

The Chelsea boss said: “I think when you speak between managers, and there are lots of decisions that go and you can hear it more clearly now without the crowd.

“And lots of managers will call for decisions and it may be right or wrong. And then you speak with each other.

“But when people on the bench jump up and want to speak across to myself and then smirk and smile and then continue to do so for quite a while, I think that is past the code.

“With cameras and microphones it was in full view and I regret the language that I used.

“I couldn’t help the passion that I felt. It wasn’t a foul as I saw it but even then I shouldn’t be swearing but I had an issue with some of the staff and it was against the code of how it works on the bench.”

    STONE-FORD BRIDGE

Chelsea could make a move for Manchester City defender John Stones this summer, according to reports.

After the signings of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and their pursuit of Kai Havertz, the Blues will turn their attention to strengthening their defence.

Stones’ name has been thrown into consideration by the Chelsea recruitment team and the England international is on the club’s list of defensive targets, according to website Football Insider.

The 26-year-old’s injury troubles have caused him to fall down the pecking order at the Etihad.

With Man City rumoured to be chasing a new centre-back this summer the ex-Everton man’s future looks to be in doubt.

The Toffees, Arsenal and Newcastle have all been linked with a move for Stones.

    LET'S SHAKE ON PALM

Emerson Palmieri is top of Antonio Conte’s transfer wish-list at Inter Milan, according to reports.

The Nerazzuri have made recruiting a left-back their No1 priority in the coming window.

According to Tuttosport, Conte wants to recruit Palmieri to strengthen Inter’s left-flank having not been impressed by Cristiano Biraghi or Kwadwo Asamoah this term.

Emerson has failed to cement a regular place in Chelsea’s starting line-up, since arriving from Roma in 2018.

Cesar Azpilicueta – who normally operates at right-back – has been keeping the 25-year-old out the team and playing on the left in his place.

    LAMPS' POPE HOPE

Chelsea will step up their pursuit of Burnley keeper Nick Pope to replacer Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Blues boss Frank Lampard is keen to bring in the Clarets and England stopper.

Lamps dropped Kepa earlier this season.

Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak, Ajax's Andre Onana and Dean Henderson of Manchester United have all been on Chelsea's rader.

But Pope's hugely impressive displays during lockdown have made him the top contender.

    TOP FOUR CHASE

Here is what is left at stake for the three contenders for the final two top four places in the Premier League.

    GRAN'S WISDOM

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia reportedly convinced Olivier Giroud to stay at the club because of her close friendship with his wife Jennifer.

Giroud has stated that he did everything in his power to leave the West London outfit, as he said: “Even I saw myself elsewhere to be honest.

“I went through six complicated months. That’s why I tried to leave in January.

“I did everything [to leave]. In the end, with the circumstances, Chelsea did not want to let me go. The crucial condition for my departure was to have a replacement.

“The most interesting club for me was Inter Milan. The problem is that it dragged on.”

    'ECH OF A SIGNING

Frank Lampard applauded as Hakim Ziyech showed off his skills in training with a lovely assist.

The Moroccan has impressed in his first two weeks getting his feet under the table after completing his £38million transfer from Ajax.

    JUNIOR SENIOR

Chelsea starlet Samuel Iling-Junior is reportedly set to join Juventus at the end of the season on a free transfer.

The 16-year-old is said to have told the Blues he wants to leave the club, with the player having no shortage of admirers with clubs across Europe looking to secure his services.

SunSport reported in February how the likes of Bayern Munich, Ajax and Schalke are all chasing the winger with his contract set to expire.

But the West Londoners were desperate to retain Iling-Junior and were keen to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge, however it appears his future lies outside of England.

According to Goal journalist Romeo Agresti, the Old Lady are closing in on a deal to bring the forward to Italy.

He stated that the Three Lions youth international has been in Turin in recent days to complete a move to Juve.

    FIK-ING HELL

Chelsea posted footage of Fikayo Tomori's first ever Premier League goal when they beat Wolves at Molineux earlier this season.

The Blues face Nuno Espirito Santo's side tomorrow and need to better Leicester's result against Manchester United in order to secure a Champions League spot for next season.

    JUVE MISSED OUT THERE

Juventus have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea youngster Samuel Iling-Junior, according to reports.

Iling-Junior, 16, featured for Chelsea's U18 side and an UEFA Youth League this season.

And Goal reporter Romeo Agresti says Iling-Junior has travelled to Turin and Juve are confident of sealing a deal.

PSG, Schalke, Ajax and Bayern Munich have all had an interest in the English U17 international.

    I'LL HAVE THE LAM

Frank Lampard put aside his row with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to enjoy a meal with wife and TV star Christine.

The Chelsea boss came in for criticism after his stunning outburst at the Reds’ coaching staff on Wednesday during his side’s 5-3 loss.

Lamps was spotted at London’s posh Annabel’s club enjoying dinner with his wife, the Loose Women co-presenter.

Klopp reignited the row with the Blues boss by saying the rookie boss should have not continued the issue after the match by raising it again in his press conference.

The former England midfielder told one of Klopp’s assistants to “f*** off” several times during the defeat, also telling him to “f****** sit down”.

    TOP DROG
