MANCHESTER UNITED are now desperate to get their transfer business done with just SEVEN days remaining before the close of the transfer window.

All eyes are on Paulo Dybala who has the final say over his potential move to Old Trafford which would see Romelu Lukaku join Juventus. The Argentine is set for showdown talks with Juve boss Maurizio Sarri today, with his agent already thrashing out a deal with United.

  • MAN UTD legend David Beckham is looking to sign English players for Inter Miami – the MLS side he co-owns.

    One of the club's four co-owners, Jorge Mas, has revealed they are looking over players from Becks' homeland as they build a squad ahead of their 2020 debut.

    Mas also claimed the club are close to signing their first manager, saying it's “someone you're going to know”.

    The co-owner said: “I think you will see if you look at our young signings, we've made substantial investments in them.

    “We're going to couple them with players who have played in Europe who are very well known.

    “We've looked at some English players. We're having some conversations with some English players and we anticipate Inter Miami will have some English presence.”

  • OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER reportedly believes that the club have ready-mate replacement for Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini.

    Herrera joined PSG on a free transfer this sumemr, while Fellaini moved to China in January to play for Shandong Luneng Taishan.

    According to the Manchester Evening News, Solskjaer sees Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira as the duo's replacements.

    Both men have impressed this pre-season as they look to start against Chelsea in the opening weekend of the Premier League.

  • MANCHESTER UNITED have officially bid £80million for Harry Maguire – but fear Leicester will turn it down.

    United had previously bid £70m for Maguire, 26, but this would make him the world’s most expensive defender.

    But Leicester have continued to play hardball, insisting they want £85m for the player.

    Maguire feels Leicester have done a u-turn on a gentleman’s agreement the parties made a year ago when he signed a new contract.

    Although thebid has yet to be turned down, it looks as though United will have to return with an other offer.

  • PAULO DYBALA is currently weighing up the biggest decision of his career – stay at Juventus or accept the challenge of joining Manchester United.

    The usually tight-lipped Bianconeri Vice-President Pavel Nedved seemed happy to add fuel to those rumours this week.

    “There are some proposals, there is some interest,” confirmed the former Ballon d’Or winner. “But we wait for concrete action so we can then decide calmly.”

    It’s very telling that Nedved was happy to release that information, and did not give off the impression that the club was desperate to hold onto their star forward.

    For many, this may seem like a strange move from Juve. The Argentine is nicknamed “La Joya” (The Jewel), and at one time he really was the jewel in the Serie A side’s crown.

    After joining the club from Palermo at the beginning of the 2015/16 campaign, Dybala set the league alight, scoring 19 goals and providing nine assists for team-mates in domestic action alone.
