What if I told you that you could be delivered an entire tiny prefabricated home that can be put together within a day—with plumbing, electric, heating. and AC all included? You probably wouldn’t believe me, which is why you need to see this incredible A-frame house (that literally can be folded and unfolded!) yourself.

Designed by Italian architect Renato Vidal, M.A.Di homes are foldable flat-pack homes that can be assembled in as little as six hours—seriously. Oh, and they were designed to withstand earthquakes.

“Once you order a MADi home, we’ll send a local site consultant to discuss the best way to install your new home,” M.A.Di’s FAQ section states. “We then coordinate foundations, delivery and installation.” Not only will M.A.Di build your A-frame for you, but everything comes included—and I mean everything. Electrical wiring, plumbing, air conditioning, you name it—basically, everything you need for a home, besides the furniture. That you’ll have to do all on your own.

Their website states that a M.A.Di cabin can be installed without foundations by placing the unit on level ground. However, for long-term use they recommend you install it atop a concrete foundation.

M.A.Di Homes come in a few different sizes, starting at a 281-square-foot tiny house and expanding to a triple-family home as large as 904 square feet. As for whether you’ll need permits for this home, M.A.Di says that it usually differs—since they’re technically foldable and a “movable property,” building permit rules may vary.
