In last night’s episode of the Channel 4 show, Barry Price, 23, from Bedford, who has a history of violence, was questioned over a string of offences that left victims badly hurt, but he refused to give any answers.

Without fresh evidence, the police had no choice but to release the suspect – but within days of leaving police custody, viewers learned that he arranged meet-ups with young girls before raping them – and officially ended up on the Most Wanted list.

Two young women, aged 15 and 16, came forward and claimed they had been raped by Barry, and after a manhunt began, the episode followed cops who were up against the clock to charge Barry.

And those who tuned in were quick to express their disgust at Barry, with one writing: ‘What a horrible vile sick human he is,’ while a second penned: ‘These poor poor girls makes me sick that he took advantage no respect. So awful.’

A third added: ‘This man is one of the biggest scum bags I’ve ever ever seen,’ while a fourth commented: ‘Not sure my blood pressure can take much more of this and its only been on 10 mins.’

Barry Price had posed as a 17-year-old boy online and persuaded two young girls to meet up with him, before driving them both to a location in Cambridgeshire.

He raped his first victim – a 16-year-old girl – in his car on October 28, before arranging to meet a teenager from Nottinghamshire on November 7.

He drove to pick her up, imprisoned her at a property before raping and sexually abusing her.

In  a distressing phone call which aired on last night’s show, the shaken 16-year-old girl who was raped by Barry can be heard calling 999 and saying: ‘Hello. This man’s literally just chucked me out and I don’t know where I am.

‘It says on the train station here, “Welcome to Sandy.” I don’t know where he’s driven off to.’

When asked by the phone operator why he chucked her out, the girl continued: ‘Because I didn’t want to do anything with him. He tried to sexually…He said, “I want to break your virginity.” ‘I’m so scared.’

During a police interview, Barry could be seen yawning and resting his head on the desk when being questioned about raping two girls (pictured)

Taking to the comments section, one person noted: ‘Incredible bravery from two young girls’ (pictured)

In another scene, the second girl can be seen being questioned by police who asked her to explain, in as much detail as possible, why she had come to see them.

‘Barry Price raped me.,’ she explained. ‘He literally just…pushed my legs up in the air and said, “Oh you might as well get this over and done with.”‘ I was just like crying because I was so upset. I was in so much pain. Barry was just laughing. I just wanted him to get off the top of me.’

During questioning at the police station, Barry could be seen yawning and resting his head on the desk when being asked about raping the two young girls.

At trial, the judge branded Barry a ‘self-entitled dangerous sexual predator’ and sentenced him to 18 years for rape, sexual assault and false imprisonment.

One young girl recalled how Barry Price (pictured, behind bars) laughed as he raped her

After sentencing, Detective Sergeant Gilbert commented: ‘This first episode clearly demonstrates the complexity of our specialist team’s work, and we must praise the bravery of the two young women in coming forward, putting their faith in us, to investigate such serious sexual offences.

‘We were happy to allow the cameras to follow us so the public can see not only what we do first hand, but also the challenges we face, and just how hard we work to bring perpetrators to justice.

‘Anyone who commits rape or sexual offences must expect to face the considerable consequences of their actions.’

Many took to social media to praise the two young victim’s for bravely sharing their story and for helping to put Barry behind bars.

’18years in prison… Thank god!!!’ wrote one, while a second penned: ‘I am sooooooooo happy that those two girls actually phoned the police to report what happened to them.

‘It goes unreported so much. Well done to those girls, he can’t do it to anyone else.’

A third added: ‘I’m appalled at watching such a scumbag as this bloke on 24 hours in police custody – his attitude is absolutely mind blowing-he needs to be put away & the key thrown away-I choose to be a law abiding citizen he chooses to be a scumbag.’
