A vest top is the ultimate wardrobe staple and can go with just about anything. Whether you’re adding it as an extra layer to keep warm in the winter, or choosing it as part of an easy to wear summer outfit, a vest top can be found in everyone’s wardrobe.

When it’s warm outside, sometimes there’s nothing better than ditching an uncomfortable bra, but many of us don’t want to go without the support. That’s why Uniqlo’s vest top with built-in bra has officially gone viral, and shoppers can’t get enough of it.

The Ribbed Cropped Sleeveless Bra Top,£19.90 here, recently went viral on TikTok after shoppers discovered the fully built-in bra cups that help provide support and mean it’s easy to style without having to worry about your bra straps showing in the racer style neckline.

The sleek design is timeless, and the cropped length means it sits perfectly on high waisted jeans, shorts, and skirts, so you can style it with just about anything ready for the warmer weather.

For those needing that extra support, the top is roomy enough to pop a strapless bra underneath it, and the updated line at the armholes gives great coverage to make sure your bra stays hidden.

The vest comes in sizes XXS to XXL, and is available in a huge range of colours, including white, orange, grey, khaki, black, and baby blue, with fans snapping up multiple colours after discovering how comfortable and versatile the top is.

One shopper left a five star review and some sizing advice for other buyers, saying: “I bought this top and love the built in bra. I am a size 10/12 up top (34C for reference) and found the M a bit loose on the bust, so I sized down to S and for me fits pefectly as it makes me feel more "secure". I have now bought this top in 3 colours… :)”.

Another loves how easy it was to wear, although they did warn that the white coloured vest was slightly see through, writing: “Bought this about a fortnite ago and worn it loads since. Super simple not having to think about a bra.

Slightly disappointing that the white is a bit see through, in certain lights you can see the outline of the bra pads as they are a bit more grey than the top itself.”

Due to the popularity of the vest top, multiple sizes originally sold out, but Uniqlo have recently restocked, although sizes are selling out quickly again across the six different coloured tops.

For a similar style, the LuluLemon Hold Tight Tank Top,£38 here, is available in sizes 0 to 20, and is designed with four way stretch for all over support to ‘feel like a second skin’, with reviewers loving the slightly longer length.

Marks and Spencer also offer a longer vest with built-in bra cups, to offer more coverage if a cropped length isn’t for you. The Cotton Rich Bra Vest Padded Cups,£18 here, gives plenty of support, shape, and lift.
