Meghan McCain revealed the “Game of Thrones” ending during “The View,” spoiling the finale for anyone who hadn’t seen it – including co-host Sunny Hostin.

The ending of the HBO fantasy juggernaut was one of the “Hot Topics” on the daytime talk show Monday, and McCain couldn’t contain her disappointment about the way the series ended Sunday.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg introduced the topic, saying, “Apparently we’re at the end of a giant era of pop culture. It came to close last night with the series finale of ‘Game of Thrones.’ And this morning there are actually counselors you can reach out to if you’re having a hard time with it.

“Anybody having a tough time?” Goldberg asked.

McCain said that she was having a tough time before launching into a huge spoiler.

“I spent eight years of my life watching this. And it was a horrible ending. Horrible. Bran is the worst,” said McCain. “Sorry spoiler.”

She continued: “He didn’t do anything and now he gets to rule? It should have been the mother of dragons—”

Unfortunately Hostin hadn’t gotten the chance to watch the episode.

“Oh, Meghan!” Hostin said. “I’m only on season four!”

McCain apologized, but she wasn’t all that sorry.

“Sorry. It’s all over the Internet,” McCain said. “I wasn’t told I wasn’t allowed to say it. I’m sorry, everybody. It’s all over the Internet.”

She reiterated how disappointed she was: “As a dedicated fan who watched live last night like everyone’s supposed to, OK, it was terrible. I was so disappointed.”

Co-host Joy Behar reveled in the fact that she was on “Season Zero,” with the audience applauding that she hadn’t watched the show.

McCain said she didn’t realized the audience would be so “triggered” when she revealed one of the major plot points from the final episode.

“Apparently I’m going to get the wrath of the internet when I leave,” she said.
