TESCO is selling a new spiced fruit gin liqueur that apparently tastes just like minces pies.

The new tipple is dark brown in colour and is described as a botanical liqueur with hints of festive flavouring.

Made by Tw Kempton, gin lovers can pick up a bottle in Tesco now for £14 for 50cl.

It’s already made quite a stir online with customers not sure what to make of the mince pie comparison.

The bottle was first posted to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group with the buyer saying: “Omg it’s like drinking a mince pie!”

Her comment was met with a mixed reaction with people either loving or hating the idea of the festive pastry being turned into a drink.

One said: “We need to try this!”

While another responded: “Are you actually being serious? That sounds minging.”

We can't see this gin liqueur being sold on the Tesco website so you'll need to visit your nearest store to find it.

You can see where your closest shop is by clicking here.

We've asked Tesco to confirm if it's being sold nationwide and we'll update this article when we hear back.

Each bottle has a 20 per cent alcohol by volume (ABV) content so remember to drink responsibly and be Drinkaware.

We couldn't find another mince pie flavoured gin liqueur being sold but we did find one that tastes of candy canes.

This is being sold by Eden Mill but at £30 a bottle, this works out £16 more expensive than the Tesco equivalent.

A big lover of gin? Tesco is also selling "Llamartini" cans made from gin, apple and elderflower.

While B&M is selling rosé gin that's cheaper than the version you'll find at Asda.

Then there's Aldi's new gin range and it includes a unicorn one that tastes of candy floss and marshmallow.
