A server has shared a hilarious job listing that features ‘insane’ requirements that note the company is looking for a very specific kind of employee.
TikTok creator Abbey, based in the US, took to the video-sharing platform to detail the job listing she found for a server position.
She revealed the role required applicants to meet a certain set of prerequisites.
In the clip, Abbey details the ‘most insane ad’ that she has ever seen, which demands those applying to keep in mind they ‘get paid to work’ and noted employees shouldn’t call out after a ‘night of partying.’
‘This is the most insane ad for a server at a restaurant that I’ve ever seen and it just made my day,’ Abbey said.

In the clip, Abbey details the ‘most insane ad’ that she has ever seen, which demands those applying to keep in mind they ‘get paid to work’
She explains that the job listing starts off normal, but quickly goes off the rails.
In the beginning, the ad requests a waiter who can work in a ‘fun, fast-paced unique bar restaurant.’ Then, it says the server must be sober.
Abbey goes on to say: ‘Then it goes on to this huge paragraph.’
The ad requests people who have an ‘inability to handle skillful sarcasm,’ have no alarm clock, tend to oversleep and call in sick if they’ve partied the night before should not apply for the job.
It also says those who fall ill on the weekend of Coachella and Splash House should avoid the position as well.
Reading the job listing Abbey said: ‘You will not last if you want to score social points with the cute patron by giving away food and beverage on our dime, with our inventory.’
‘Do not apply if you’ll think you need nights off because your grandma poisoned you with her ham, again,’ the ad continued.
And the person who posted the job wasn’t done yet as they then went on to note that having a headache after going to ‘too many garage sales,’ being in the casino all night, or ‘ordering takeout you have to be home to receive’ aren’t good excuses.

The job listing noted that waiters with ‘trauma drama syndrome,’ people with ‘big egos,’ and ‘grumpy introverts’ should steer clear of the restaurant.
‘Individuals unable to accept the fact that you get paid to work, need not apply,’ Abbey reads from the listing.
She ends the video by saying: ‘This sounds like an amazing place to work doesn’t it?’
And it seems that other employers have been frustrated with their workers for some of the same reasons.
According to a report from CareerBuilder, 40 per cent of workers have called in sick when they were not ill and 26 per cent of employers have fired workers they had discovered were making a fake excuse.
