She’s known for her stylish prowess – and Princess Sofia of Sweden didn’t disappoint as she stepped out in Stockholm today. 

The mother-of-three, 38, appeared chic in a burnt orange skirt and cream jacket when joining Prince Carl Philip in the Swedish capital.

The couple were attending a seminar on ‘Research in Neuropsychiatric Disabilities’ at the Karolinska Institute.

Sofia teamed her stunning ensemble with a dark tan handbag, perched on her shoulder, and matching high heels.

She completed the look with a white blouse under her cream jacket, and added a touch of glitz to her outfit with a pair of silver hoop earrings.

Wearing a smattering of glamorous makeup on her elegant features, the princess sported a wavy hair do.

Not to be outdone by his sophisticated wife, Carl Philip, who is fourth in line to the Swedish throne, opted for a dapper navy suit with a blue striped tie and crisp white shirt.

In March, the couple shared a sweet new portrait of their youngest son Prince Julian to mark his second birthday.   

The image, posted on Instagram, pictures the couple’s youngest son beaming at the camera.

Julian, two, wears a white shirt with blue stitching on the collar underneath a grey, woolly jumper.

The royal, the youngest of the eight grandchildren of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, has his blonde locks combed into a side parting. 

In the caption of the image, the royals wrote: ‘Today we celebrate our beloved Julian who turns 2!’

Swedish royal watchers were delighted to see the photo, and took to the comments section to share their well wishes with the youngster.

One wrote: ‘Happy 2nd Birthday, dear sweet Prince Julian. God bless you abundantly.’

Another added: ‘Can’t believe he’s already 2! Happy Birthday to the sweetest little Prince Julian!’

And a third said: ‘Happy Birthday to Prince Julian. He is so cute and looks so much like Gabriel.’

The Swedish royals share snaps of their family on Instagram to mark important occasions, including birthdays, often delighting fans.

Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip’s third son was born on March 26, 2021, at a hospital in Greater Stockholm. 

Taking to social media soon after, Princess Sofia wrote: ‘Life has given me not just one but four beautiful princes. 

‘A heartfelt thank you from us for all the warm congratulations in connection with Julian’s birth.’
