While the Queen’s granddaughter is yet to share her son’s first name with the world, it is reported that he will take the middle name ‘Stamp’.

Indeed, the new dad's full name is Jack Christopher Stamp Brooksbank in keeping with family tradition.
The name pays tribute to Stamp Brooksbank, an ancestor of Jack's who was the Governor of the Bank of England in the mid-18th Century.

The Queen's granddaughter gave birth to her first child on Tuesday 9 February at London’s private Portland hospital.
The Royal Family shared a statement which read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 0855hrs at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present.
“The baby weighs 8lbs 1oz.”

It added: “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news.
“This is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s first child, The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York’s first grandchild, and the ninth great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.

Eugenie, who broke royal protocol twice when announcing the birth of her little one, also took to her own Instagram page to share the happy news with her 1.2million followers as she shared a black and white photo of her and Jack holding their newborn baby boy’s hand.
As she shared the image with fans, she added three blue heart emojis alongside the snap.
