All eyes are on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the imminent release of their controversial docuseries, Harry & Meghan.

The Sussexes have promised it will be an "unprecedented and in-depth documentary series" where the royal couple "share the other side of their high-profile love story".

Former Suits actress Meghan teases in the first trailer: “When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”

Ahead of the worldwide release, here's what we know about the documentary series so far…

How much is their Netflix deal worth?

Meghan, 41, and Harry, 38, are reported to have been paid £88 million for the tell-all docuseries.

According to the Guardian, both Disney+ and Apple TV+ were engaged in a bidding war with the Sussexes to try and secure programmes.

At the time the deal was announced, Harry and Meghan said in a statement: “Our lives, both independent of each other, and as a couple have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection.

"Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope."

What can we expect from the docuseries?

After Meghan and Harry's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, which was watched by 12 million people in the UK and 17 million in the US, the public will be wondering what more the couple could have to share.

But their latest production is expected to expose more secrets that could damage the Royal Family.

The six part series will also explore the span of their relationship, from the early days of the couple's courtship to the challenges and controversies that prompted them to step back as senior royals.

When will it air?

Harry & Meghan: Volume One will land on Netflix on Thursday, December 8 and will consist of three episodes.

Fans will have to wait another week for Volume Two, which will be released on December 15.
