A TINY London flat could be yours for a whopping £1,150-a-month – and you could be forgiven for wondering where the bedroom is.

The bizarre-looking space saving sleeping area is accessed via a very steep ladder.

The “double mezzanine bed” hangs over the rest of the room with just enough space for a desk or sofa underneath.

The studio flat also includes “fitted wardrobes” with “good storage space.”

But in fact the clothes cupboard is actually hidden behind a curtain in the living room area.

The only other “extra storage space” is oddly in the ceiling above the bathroom.

Prospective tenants for the flat, located above shops, are expected to pay a £1,325 deposit too.

The one-bed flat in Hendon, North London is suitable for two-people to live in, according to OpenRent where it is advertised.

The listing reads: “Bright self-contained cozy double studio flat in the heart of Hendon.

“Fully fitted kitchen, including oven, cooker, fridge/freezer etc.

It comes as what has been described as the “UK’s smallest house” is now on the market for £200,000 and it’s less than two and a half metres wide.

House hunters are shocked at the staggering cost, saying the property looks like a child's playhouse.

The one-bedroom property in Basingstoke, Hampshire, is still up for grabs after being placed on the market for £195,000 in November.

It is the UK's smallest house currently up for sale, with a width of 2.46m.

What's more, the minuscule home is situated right next to a neighbouring house – which towers over it in height.
