Kristin Cavallari is ready to throw in the towel when it comes to athletes.

The “Laguna Beach” alum got candid about her complicated love life on a recent episode of her “Back to the Beach” podcast before finally admitting to dating former USC quarterback Matt Leinart when she was younger.

“Matt is the nicest human being on the planet,” she told co-host Stephen Colletti. “He’s such a great guy. But yeah, I dated him when I was 18, my second half of my senior year.”

While Cavallari, 36, never revealed her mystery boyfriend’s last name on the hit MTV series, fans speculated for years that it was Leinart.

“He was a five-year senior at USC. He was on top of the world that year. I was so excited about it, clearly, like, no chill whatsoever. But it was a big deal for me.”

Colletti went on to joke that Leinart was Cavallari’s “first quarterback” before she ended up marrying — and divorcing — Jay Cutler.

“Ah God, my first quarterback. … I dated a couple athletes in my day, I will say,” the “Uncommon James” founder noted, before giving her take on which athletes make the best partners.

“Here’s my deal. I dated a hockey player. For me, now in my life where I’m at, it’s more about schedules. So baseball, they’re gone all the time. Basketball, they’re gone all the time. Football’s reasonable. Hockey, they’re gone a lot, but it’s doable.”

She continued, “To be honest, I don’t want to say anything I’m going to end up regretting, but I don’t think I want to date another athlete. I’ve done that. I want to leave that in the past.”

Cavallari and Cutler, 39, tied the knot in 2013 and share sons Camden, 10, and Jaxon, 8, as well as 7-year-old daughter Saylor.

Nonetheless, Cavallari described her decision to file for divorce in 2020 as the “best thing I’ve ever done.”

“Being in a relationship where I was really unhappy, that wasn’t going to work for me,” she said on the “School of Greatness” podcast last year. “And I knew in my gut for a long time that I had to do it.”

Since their split, the “Hills” star has been linked to comedian Jeff Dye, singer Chase Rice and “Bachelorette” star Tyler Cameron.
