Actress Michelle Collins is somewhat of a soap legend, having appeared on both EastEnders and Coronation Street.

The 58 year old starred as Cindy Beale, the on-screen villain and ex-wife of Ian Beale on Albert Square from 1988 to 1998, then went on to play the role of Stella Price on Corrie from 2011 to 2014.

Michelle now works on more casual basis doing a few episodes here and there for other British shows, but after such a long successful stint on the soaps the mother of one has earned the right to relax.

And it looks as thought she is doing just that, in her lavish north London home.

During lockdown she has been keeping fans entertained with little videos and sketches uploaded to her Instagram for her 43.6k followers to see, and in the back ground we can see her quirky and stylish abode.

Let’s take a look inside…

Michelle has nailed the lockdown look when it comes to her patterned outdoor day bed, which comes complete with matching face mask. We also love how her stilettos match her cushions… this woman has style!

On VE Day Michelle shared footage of herself prepping a 1940s inspired meal. We can see that, aside from the Union Jack bunting, the space is a pristine white, with sleek cabinets and a wooden dining table. But our favourite thing in room is that amazing golden monkey candleholder!

The star’s living room has a very comfy-looking leather sofas and painted wooden floor. There is also a patterned cushion, and a very sweet dog lounging about… the ultimate interior feat.

The large windows have wooden blinds attached; they look lovely and also means she won’t boil in the current hot weather we have been experiencing.

The living room also has an animal skin rug on the floor and a desk area complete with a Mac computer on it. Additionally, there is a very large Pop Art-style painting above the sofa which affords the otherwise neutral room a certain vibrancy.

You’d be forgiven for thinking this is the home of Tiger king’s Carole Baskin, what with the leopard print curtains and zebra print chair. Because the walls are painted white, the flamboyant patterns are not overpowered and the ‘jungle corner’ looks very stylish.

In the corner of the room is a large and very sculptural lamp that basks the space in a golden glow. The actress also has a large picture of Kate Moss shot by famed photographer Mario Testino up on the wall.

Egg-shaped chairs are all the rage these days, favoured by Loose Woman star Stacey Solomon and best friend Mrs Hinch, but Michelle’s one is especially cool as it is lined with electric blue fur. We are SO jealous!

Michelle’s boudoir is very tasteful, with a princess-style bed complete with wicker headboard. Above the bed is another piece of fashion photography and there is also a lovely antique lamp.
