A high school beauty queen married a 65-year-old mayor and doesn't care what people think because they're happy.
Former Miss Teen contestant Kauane Rode Camargo, 16, and 65-year-old multimillionaire Mayor Hissam Hussein Dehaini recently married in Araucaria, the Brazilian state of Parana.
In Brazil, marrying at 16 is legal with parental permission, and the country is reportedly the fifth biggest in the world for underage marriages.

Araucaria's new First Lady reportedly shared a snap of the happy couple on social media earlier this month, alongside the caption: "What matters, honestly… It's just that we don't care!"
The statement appears to come following widespread criticism over the wedding after the pair made international headlines.
Dehaini reportedly quit his political party – but not as mayor – amid the backlash and the wedding took place on April 12.
It's since been said two of Kauane's closest relatives were promised jobs in the mayor's administration.
Kauane's 36-year-old mother, Marilene Rode, was made the new Municipal Secretary of Culture and Tourism on April 13, according to local media.
As well as this the bride's aunt, named as Elizangela Rode, was appointed Secretary General Director at the City Hall on April 1.
The new "First Lady of Araucaria", who is still in high school, reportedly participated in a number of beauty contests for teenagers – she even placed as the runner-up for the 2022 edition of Miss Araucaria Teen.
Dehaini, who got hitched for the third time and is serving his second term as mayor with 68.49% of the vote, made his fortune as a businessman.
He said: "We are happy. She does me good, and I do her good, and together we are not doing anyone any harm."
Dehaini, who is reportedly worth BRL 14million (£2.2m), was once seized over drug charges.
It was claimed he ran a Breaking Bad-style drugs refining lab and allegedly protected traffickers by arranging deals with the police.
The investigation was later dropped, and Dehaini went on to become a top businessman and politician.
