Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden looked carefree as she enjoyed Stockholm’s annual Pep Day with her husband Prince Daniel and their son Prince Oscar today.

The heir apparent, 42, cut a casual figure in a blue T-shirt – emblazoned with the slogan ‘Generation Pep Sweden’ – and light-wash coloured jeans as she was pictured carrying her three-year-old son.

Victoria completed her simple ensemble with a pair of white and grey trainers, and wore her brunette locks tied back in a bun.

She was joined by her husband Prince Daniel, 45, who also dressed for the occasion in a branded Pep Day polo neck and jeans, and tied a blue sweatshirt around his waist.

Also present at the Hagaparken event was Prince Oscar, who wore a light grey T-shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap embroidered with his first initial.

Throughout the day’s events, Victoria and Oscar were spotted mingling with members of the Swedish public, and were even seen bending down to stroke a dog.

The family had been visiting Stockholm for the city’s annual Pep Day, during which the Prince Daniel’s Race takes place alongside various free activities for children.

The event, initiated by the Swedish royal family, is organised by non-profit organisation Generation Pep and aims to promote physical activity among children.

This was Princess Victoria’s second public appearance of the week, after she was spotted at the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm on Friday.

Victoria, who wore a bold pink power suit, attended the event without her husband Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland.

Last year, Princess Victoria was named patron of the Rosa Bandet, Pink Ribbon Campaign of the Cancer Foundation in Sweden for the 10th consecutive year.

According to Secretary General of the Swedish Cancer Society, the royal plays an essential role in further drawing attention to the illness and the importance of research.

Victoria is the eldest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and heir apparent to the Swedish throne.
