What's the difference between the PS4 and the PS4 Pro?

The short answer is that the PS4 Pro is simply more powerful and faster than the regular PS4.

The PS4 Pro should make your games look better than ever as you can play them in full 4K detail, as long as you have a TV a PlayStation game that supports that.

The PS4 is also slightly bigger and heavier than the regular PS4, as well as being more expensive.

Is PS4 better than Xbox One?

In terms of performance, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One (like-for-like models) are pretty similar and you'd be hard pushed to find significant graphical differences between the consoles.

Microsoft charges a larger premium for its 4K console, the Xbox One X, than Sony does for the PS4 Pro, so PlayStation takes the edge on value.

But we think the PS4 really edges ahead of the Xbox One with its library of exclusive games.

While Microsoft does have its share of exclusives, including the Halo and Gears of War series, the PS4 has far more smash hit games, including: The Last of Us, Spider-Man, God of War and Uncharted.
