Brittany Cartwright is “incredibly proud” of her body, but wants to “get healthier” for her family.

“I want to be the best version of myself for my son,” the ”Vanderpump Rules” star – who welcomed her first child, son Cruz, with Jax Taylor last year, told People.

“Since having Cruz, postpartum weight loss has been a struggle and something I’ve been very vocal about with my community.”

Cartwright, 32, reiterated that while she’s “proud” of her body, she still wants to lose “at least 30 pounds” with the help of Jenny Craig.

“I’d like to get back to feeling like my best self all around, including both mental and physical health,” she explained.

The new interview comes months after the reality star clapped back at online trolls, speaking out about the importance of normalizing a post-baby body.

“I keep seeing comments that I look pregnant here,” she captioned a photo of herself on the red carpet with Taylor in July.

“Well guess what? I probably do — I just had a baby three months ago and my body is healing and I’m working hard to get back in shape,” she continued.

However, Cartwright said she still receives negative comments when she goes on social media.

“They are still hurtful, but I remind myself that every single body is powerful and beautiful, and that I’m particularly proud of mine,” she said. “It gave me Cruz! And then I go and cuddle my son.”

She continued, “It can be so easy to compare ourselves to others. But anytime I find myself getting too in my head about this, I take a step back and remind myself that every person’s body is so different and uniquely beautiful.”

She also encouraged other moms to “move at their own pace” and do what feels right for their bodies.

“As moms who have given birth, we’ve done something incredible and made a whole person inside of our bodies,” Cartwright said. “It’s normal that they don’t look the same afterward. Whether you want to lose weight post-baby or you don’t, remind yourself that you are powerful and that your body is yours and yours alone.”
