TRADER Joe's is loved by millennials as the brand offers quality food at a low cost – and the retailer is about to get even more love.

Addison Jarman, who shares plenty of hacks on her social media channels, has revealed that Trader Joe's has a "try before you buy" policy.

In a video where she played out a conversation between a customer and a Trader Joe's employee, the blonde TikTok star shared the hack.

As the customer, she told the employee that she wanted to try a product before actually buying it.

The employee then shared that Trader Joe's has a "try before you buy" policy that lets customers taste test any of their foods.

"What foods can I try?" she asked her employee version, who replied that customers can try "anything we can open up and taste is a go."

After revealing this genius hack, many Trader Joe's employees revealed in the comment section of her videos that indeed, this can be done.

One customer even said: "An employee opened a chocolate hummus for me but I didn't ask him to.

"I had asked him if it was good and he said he didn't know so we both tried it."

Unfortunately, Trader Joe's has paused their "try before you policy" due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic sweeping the world but it's set to come back once it dies down.

A mom had previously shared similar hacks when shopping at Aldi.

TikTok user Freebielady, who has almost 19,000 followers on Instagram and 23,000 subscribers on YouTube, has shared that the best day to shop at the store is on Wednesdays and that store managers can give you discounts if you are buying in bulk.
