It’s time to get parade ready.

It’s heating up outside, which is promising for Pride parades and events – but with the glorious sun comes sweat and chafing.

One brand is here to change that though, as Snag have released limited edition Pride shorts perfect for strutting around in – without the rubbing.

The Snag Stay Cool Chub Rub Shorts are made from tights material, and the 80 denier shorts are designed to keep you a degree cooler, combatting the sun a step further.

Moisture-wicking material with a cotton gusset ensure you stay chafe-free, making them ideal to wear under skirts and dresses for comfort.

Wear them discretely, or have the design poking out – either way, they look the part.

They work with your silhouette too, as the purple design comes up high on the stomach for a smoothing effect without being restrictive.

Oh, and they’re anti-static as well.

Take them on holiday, to your next walk, or wear them on any day the sun decides to poke its head out for less friction between your legs.

As well as looking good – with the Pride colours loud and clear in the design – do good too, as £1 from every sale will be donated to akt, a charity who help LGBTQ+ youth living in hostile environments.

Metro.co.uk celebrates 50 years of Pride

This year marks 50 years of Pride, so it seems only fitting that Metro.co.uk goes above and beyond in our ongoing LGBTQ+ support, through a wealth of content that not only celebrates all things Pride, but also share stories, take time to reflect and raises awareness for the community this Pride Month.

And we’ve got some great names on board to help us, too. From a list of famous guest editors taking over the site for a week that includes Rob Rinder, Nicola Adams, Peter Tatchell, Kimberly Hart-Simpson, John Whaite, Anna Richardson and Dr Ranj, we’ll also have the likes Sir Ian McKellen and Drag Race stars The Vivienne, Lawrence Chaney and Tia Kofi offering their insights.

During Pride Month, which runs from 1 – 30 June, Metro.co.uk will also be supporting Kyiv Pride, a Ukrainian charity forced to work harder than ever to protect the rights of the LGBTQ+ community during times of conflict.
