A PREGNANT mum-of-11 revealed she’s been suffering from morning sickness for the very first time – and now understands why people only have a few kids.

Britni Church revealed she's expecting her 12th child with husband Chris, 29, after they welcomed triplets in 2019.

The 32-year-old, who had her first baby a few days after she turned 16, gave fans an update into her latest pregnancy on TikTok.

The mum, from Kansas, said: “Honestly I’d never really had nausea, even with the triplets, until this pregnancy.

“And that’s why I told my husband this pregnancy, even this is a boy – I had six when I met my husband four girls two boys – and now we have five boys together, and we’ll find out next week what baby number 12 is.

“But I told him, even if this is a boy, he wants a biological daughter, my eldest kids want him to have a girl too, I don’t think I can have any more.

“I felt like I was going to throw up for three months’ straight.

“Now I know why people only have like one or two kids.”

She shared some advice for other mums struggling with morning sickness, recommending ginger and peppermint tea, as well as keeping dry crackers next to your bed.

Britni says she never thought she’d have such a large family, previously saying 15 was her absolute limit.

Before developing morning sickness, she said: “I hope we’ll try to have another girl still.

“I don’t think I would ever have more than 15 kids but then again I never thought I’d have 11 kids."

What is morning sickness?

Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy, often known as morning sickness, is very common in early pregnancy.

It can affect you at any time of the day or night, and some women feel sick all day long.

Morning sickness is unpleasant, and for some women it can significantly affect their day-to-day life. But it doesn't put your baby at any increased risk, and usually clears up by weeks 16 to 20 of your pregnancy.

Some women develop a severe form of pregnancy sickness called hyperemesis gravidarum. This can be serious, and there's a chance you may not get enough fluids in your body (dehydration) or not get enough nutrients from your diet (malnourishment). You may need specialist treatment, sometimes in hospital.

Currently she goes through 600 nappies a week, and revealed by the time she welcomes her latest child in July, she will have been pregnant for seven-and-a-half years.

Britni regularly shares her large family life online, but has been forced defend her large brood, claiming they’re "just like everyone else", after being criticised for her super-sized family.

Previously speaking to CafeMom, she said: “Setting the record straight, she revealed: "We aren’t on food stamps, but we don’t look down on those who need them.

“We aren’t ignorant, and we aren’t Catholic or Mormon but I do believe in Jesus.”

Britni had her first five children with her ex-husband – Crizman, 16, Jordan, 14, Caleb, 13, Jace, 12 and Cadence, ten – before they broke up in 2010.

After the divorce, Britni says she went through a partying phase, and unexpectedly fell pregnant with her sixth child, Jesalyn, eight, in 2012.

She then met her now-husband, Chris, in 2014, and they went on to have five boys, including the triplets Asher, Oliver and Abel, and are now expecting their sixth.
